Biography

Andrew Morrison is Head of Design at InterMedia, an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Oslo (http://www.intermedia.uio.no/people/home/andrewm/). Linking a sociocultural approach to learning with participatory design is central to his work. In a practice-based research frame, he is involved in collaborative research in electronic arts, digital rhetoric, mobile narrative and multimodal discourse in action. He has recently edited and co-authored many of the chapters in a research collection entitled Inside Multimodal Composition (forthcoming Hampton Press 2007). He is currently also a Professor II at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in the domain of interaction design.
