Biography

Bregje de Vries received her PhD in Educational Science from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. She was an assistant professor of Instructional Technology at the same university. Currently, she works as a professor at the Faculty of Education at HAN Professional University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. In this context, she focuses on the development of communities of research with teachers, student teachers and teacher educators. Her research interests include (participatory) design-based research, narrative research, collaborative learning and learning communities, and inquiry learning and reflective thinking.
