Biography

Ms Gerlinde Koeglreiter is currently undertaking doctoral studies at Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia), focussing on issues surrounding the role of Communities of Practice in organisational knowledge management. She holds a Bachelor degree with Honours in Information Systems (University of Derby, UK) and a Master of Information Technology (Swinburne, Australia). In addition to her research interests, she works as a business analyst employing group facilitation techniques for requirements engineering. Although she applies a strong technical background to her work, she focuses on bottom-up approaches to Knowledge Management in her research.
