Biography

Jean-François Marcel is a former teacher and teacher trainer, he is now Professeur des Universités (Academic) at the Ecole Nationale de Formation Agronomique (National School for Agronomic Training) in Toulouse, France. His research is devoted to the professional development of teachers through teaching practise (both individual and collective) in the daily school and classroom context. The research group is part of the international network OPEN (Observation des Pratiques Enseignantes / Observation of Teaching Practices) comes under his responsibility; he has also published several scientific articles and was responsible for several joint publications.
