Biography

Naava Frank, a social entrepreneur, is the founder of Knowledge Communities, a consulting firm devoted to promoting knowledge sharing and innovation among foundations and non-profits through the creation of Communities of Practice (CoP). Naava works with her clients to educate sponsors and members, design learning activities and mentor community facilitators for ongoing community development. She was awarded a Covenant grant in 2006 to create a meta-community for facilitators of communities of practice in the Jewish community. Naava holds an Ed.D. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Barnard College/Columbia University. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband and two children.
