Biography

Petra Cremers (1961) is an educational consultant and researcher at Hanze University, Groningen, the Netherlands. Her field of expertise is developing and redesigning bachelor degree programmes based on competence-based learning. As an educational consultant, she was involved in developing the four-year bachelor degree course of Human Technology. She described the project in the book Nothing is more permanent than Change. (Re)designing a Bachelor's degree course at Hanze University, Groningen, the Netherlands (2004). Her research is aimed at Communities of Practice in higher education, consisting of students, teaching staff and participants from industry.
