Erik Jacobson, Montclair State University, USA

Erik Jacobson is an Assistant Professor in the Early Childhood, Elementary and Literacy Education Department at Montclair State University (New Jersey, United States of America). He worked in community based adult education for ten years, teaching in a variety of programs (e.g., English as a Second Language, Citizenship, Family Literacy). For the last five years he has been involved in professional development at the individual, program, and state-wide level. During this time he has become increasingly interested in the role that technology can play in helping educators develop and share their professional wisdom.
