Sabine Little currently works for CILASS, the Centre for Inquiry-based Learning in the Arts and Social Sciences, a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the University of Sheffield, UK. As a Learning Development and Research Associate for Networked Learning, she supports projects using technologies to facilitate inquiry-based learning. Prior to this, she worked in the School of Education, where she facilitated an MEd as part of the School's Caribbean Programme. She is particularly interested in the concept of peer cognisance, i.e. the ways in which groups collaborate and develop a mutual sense of responsibility and stake in outcomes, and how this process can be facilitated, either face-to-face or online.
