Roger Kolbotn

Biography

Roger Kolbotn works as an advisor at the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Defence and Emergency Planning. In 2001-2003, he attended Bournemouth University, England. His MA dissertation in Information Systems Management examines the role and management of Communities of Practice for volunteers in the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. His chapter is based on this study.
